League of Trucks
Join the Junior League of Abilene on Saturday, April 25th, 2026 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Shotwell Stadium for our second annual League of Trucks event! This will be a “touch a truck” style event where children can come and sit in different types of trucks, farm equipment, first responder vehicles, and much, much more. They will be able to honk the horns, run the sirens, climb all over, and of course, take loads of cute pictures! This is a fun learning opportunity to see some heavy equipment up close and personal and learn about different professions here in the Big Country!
Entry is FREE for everyone so please come out and enjoy the day with us!
10:00 am to 11:00 am will be a sensory/quiet hour, for children who are sensitive to noise or flashing lights. There will be no lights or sirens during this first hour, but anyone is welcome to attend!
11:00 am to 1:00 pm will be full steam ahead with all the lights and sirens you can handle!
On top of the variety of fun trucks, we will also have several food trucks to purchase lunch or snacks from, as well as a coffee truck for the parents who need a caffeine fix! We will also have a bounce house and other fun children’s activities. Please come and bring your family to enjoy this exciting event with us! Feel free to dress as your favorite super hero!
